Belonging, power, inclusion – global reflections on the Community Foundations of Canada conference

Belonging, reconciliation, privilege, power, inclusion, diversity…these were just some of the reoccurring themes from the Belong 2017 Community Foundations of Canada conference. More than 750 community and philanthropic leaders attended the event, with an impressive international delegation representing 34 countries. The GFCF spoke to some of its partners who were there, to see how the above themes resonate with their work, to hear about the highlights from their time in Ottawa, and to understand what they will be taking back to their own work and communities around the globe.
