We want to hear from you! Community philanthropy’s role in responding to the refugee and migrant crisis in Europe

Are you a community philanthropy organization – a community foundation, women’s fund, grassroots grantmaker, national public foundation – in Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Baltic States, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy?

If so, we would like to hear from you!

With funding from OSIFE, the GFCF is launching a new small grants and learning programme for community philanthropy organizations working on refugee and migrant issues in their communities. Although the programme will get underway fully in early 2017, right now we are interested in finding out who is doing what, where and how. 

Please send a short (really, short!) email introducing your organization, describing the refugee / migrant in your community and the activities that your organization has been engaged in around this issue. Also, what other marginalized groups you currently work with in your community.
