Join the launch of The Global South House on 30 July

You are invited to the official launch of The Global South House, which will take place on 30 July, from 10:30 AM — 12:00 PM (UTC-3),. The launch will be held online, and simultaneous interpretation in Portuguese, English and Spanish will be provided.

Born from a collaboration between the Alianza Socioambiental Fondos del Sur and Rede Comuá, The Global South House is a bold platform, created by and for the Global South, dedicated to political articulation, mobilization, knowledge production and collaboration among philanthropic actors from the Global South.

The purpose is clear: to place solutions from — and for — the South at the centre of global debates on funding for climate, nature and people, reconfiguring power and resource flows that still prevent deep transformation.

In its first edition, which will take place during COP30 in Belém, Brazil, The Global South House is supported by the Community Funds of the Brazilian Amazon Network (Rede de Fundos Comunitários da Amazônia Brasileira) and the #ShiftThePower movement.

The collective journey has already begun – and now is the time to present this powerful initiative to the world! The launch event will bring together actors from the philanthropic ecosystems of Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia, highlighting voices from territorial, community-based, Indigenous, local and youth funds — revealing a living, diverse and expanding ecosystem that sustains this collective vision.
