Are we on the cusp of a beautiful rupture? A compendium on building community power in philanthropy in West Africa

These briefs examine how giving has been shaped by patriarchy, capitalism and colonialism and how community power could instead be built that centres dignity, shared responsibility and joy. They offer an opportunity for readers to remember and honour how we care for one another. They are a call to recover what was lost and to imagine more liberatory ways of being in community.
