30 Fundraising tools for community foundations
In March 2025, the report Finding light in darkness: The role of Ukraine’s community foundations in a time of war was published by the GFCF. This prompted the preparation of this guide, which aims to help community foundations and other non-profit organizations become more financially viable, even when facing difficult challenges. It draws on the more than 30 years experience of the Princes-Benefactors Ostrozky Foundation in Ukraine: “We are ready to share our experience, especially our successes, and help avoid the unfortunate mistakes that inevitably happen to people and teams who blaze new trails and climb new peaks, opening up new horizons.” This guide is a summary of a 260-page report available only in Ukrainian, How to organize crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, and the financial viability of an organization: 30 fundraising tools that have brought financial results.
